Jit for Intel x86
« on: November 01, 2014, 02:28:39 PM »
Good day.

Please make jit for x86 CPU! Or just port it from another x86 emulators (NullDC, Chancast, Makaron). X86 CPU more powerful and more functional than the ARM. And devices based on Intel Atom more and more every day.

This is already on the works, but getting GCC to work with the existing jits is slightly painful, so it'll take more time,

I also want this, but for my rooted Acer Iconia Tab 8 A1-840HD. ;D

Dolphin Emulator also needs an x86 Android version so it will run faster.
Yes,I actually got melee to run with OpenGL backend and Jit ARM Recompiler and even waited long enough to reach Adventure mode with control of Kirby.

Why does Reicast not run at all when Dolphin actually manages to run melee extremely slowly?
In the stable Reicast build, the BIOS crash,but...
I even tried the latest build, but only the BIOS will boot,SA2 would crash the emu before getting to the game's first logo screen.

It should mostly work, but it's an extremely untested use case. I guess I need an x86 tablet/phone -.-

Loving the latest builds and how they tell you info about the game your going to play before launching it, also is there any update on getting INTEL x86 compatible with the reicast yet? Percentage wise.

I also really want to see this x86 JIT recompiler, especially since I just got a nifty bluetooth keyboard that works pretty well and only costed 25$ at BAM.

Considering dolphin android will require android 5.0 for Intel x86_64 devices in order to use the X86 JIT Recompiler, will we need to have android 5.0 lollipop in order to run reicast on Intel devices?
